New Artwork

This marker line drawing served as the foundation for an upcoming painting. I'm always inclined to keep the artwork in its original state, I simply love the simplicity and believe that black & white line art has a unique charm of its own.

Marker line drawing

This line drawing underlay portrays an extravagant beauty wearing a surreal peacock feather mask and costume. It's a concept I've been contemplating for some time. I'm always amazed by the inspirational animal patterns and designs that nature provides us with.

Bohemian Bride

Bohemian Bride

Bohemian Bride is an intricate mixed media painting that I truly enjoyed creating. I applied several different layers featuring Baroque, butterfly, and floral collage, followed by an acrylic painted top layer and 3D silver textured details. It stands as my contemporary testament to the beauty of Art Nouveau.

Anna’s Glance

Anna’s Glance

This detailed portrait is reminiscent of the legendary ballerina, Anna Pavlova. I was inspired by her charismatic glance and stunning costume. To her traditional kokoshnik headdress i added pearls and intricate embroidery, while a red, gold, and pale blue color palette evoke a vintage feel. This artwork is my interpretation of these elements combined, fused with a surreal twist. This painting is an artistic inspiration and not intended to resemble her as a person.

Pisces Mirror

Pisces Mirror

This acrylic painting began as an experiment, composed of quick scribbles from my sketchbook. The design was a spontaneous creation, i love these 'happy accidents' when personalities come to life as I play around with my sketches and ideas. The portrayed character embodies a charmingly mischievous water nymph, her metallic fish scale costume and koi carp headdress symbolizing the vitality and playfulness of the underwater world.

Lady Nostalgia

Lady Nostalgia

This unique painting was my first venture into mixed media art, fueled by my passion for patterns and textures. Acrylics painted over paper collage, 24K gold leaf, and textured details, aimed to accentuate her costume details. The intentional irregularities, covered with a gold layer, create a shimmering 3D surface and rustic look. The vintage green and yellow color scheme, coupled with baroque patterns, adds a nostalgic feel to this portrait of a classic beauty.

Unveiled Muse

Unveiled Muse

While creating this surreal portrait, I drew inspiration from the exquisite patterns of the Far East and ambiance of Arabian nights. I especially enjoyed painting her dark smokey eyes, giving her a mysterious allure. The acrylic color palette in deep shades of red and gold, exuding opulence and grandeur. Her magnetic gaze framed by intricate patterns and lavish surroundings, while a kaleidoscope of colors and butterflies add an ethereal touch to the scene.

Ancient Affair

Ancient Affair

For this double portrait, I used a stylish palette of gold and brownish-black, accented with a subtle touch of the rainbow spectrum. I embellished the figures with gold leaf and facial decorations, dressing them in festive headdresses and costumes reminiscent of ancient Egyptian mythology. My inspiration draws from a bygone era, with characters embodying a genderless beauty in the realms of theater, battle, and modern costume parties.
