"Lucid Daydream" is a striking portrait that captures the essence of a feminine dreamworld. The inspiration for this piece is based on a sunny summer afternoon in the park. I remember face painting this beautiful girl once upon a time, and how her fairy like face resembled a piece of art afterwards.
This always remained a fond memory to me, and eventually inspired me to create this painting. I added some extra fantasy elements to increase the daydream mood as i experienced it at the time. I am pleased to say the result actually captured the mood of that day.
